This transdisciplinary program is designed for advanced practitioners in the performing arts, expressive arts, theatre, film, and the educational and healing professions. It is ideal for those seeking to deepen both their professional and personal development. Unique in its structure, the program aims to facilitate pathways for participants to co-imagine meaning in today’s fragmented world and to develop original performances and transformative actions in response to contemporary challenges.
The program offers a holistic vision of embodiment and performance as practices of transformation, where art-making is closely tied to soul-making. This approach ultimately prepares participants to shape narratives that resonate with their personal experiences and the times we live in.

Drawing from the foundational teachings of Jacques Lecoq, Carl Gustav Jung, and Maria Hippius, the program’s pedagogical approach is further enhanced by practitioners such as Rhiannon, Chloe Goodchild, Marion Woodman, and David Abram. Participants will engage in various practices, including body awareness, improvisation, authentic voice work, dream exploration, guided drawing, intuitive movement, contemplative practices, and mask work. Other elements of the program include individual and collaborative storytelling, object theatre and the Fantastical, the exploration of the Grotesque and an approach to the archetype of the Clown.
Integral Movement and Performance Practice merges mythopoetic, depth-psychological, and deep-ecology perspectives and practices with performative research. This approach encourages participants to work in a transdisciplinary manner, connecting playful and performative research with a critical awareness of the worlds we inhabit, as well as exploring the collective images of the human soul that emerge in our fantasies, dreams, and imaginations during times of personal, collective, and global transitions.
The research and experiences of the participants will form the foundation for original performance projects developed collaboratively with fellow artists or independently. Participants will have the freedom to select the modalities for their performances, ranging from video-making to soundscape composition, installation art to movement choreography, and from sculpting, painting, and designing to playwriting—all forms of performance are welcome.

The program consists of five key components:

  • Teacher-guided studio research

Participants can complete the program at their own pace, making it an appealing option for those who are interested in professional development, but who have other commitments that prevent them from full-time participation. You can decide to finish the program within nine months or extend it over several years, depending on your preference.

You have the flexibility to design your own program by selecting 3-week intensives, 2-week masterclasses, 1-week workshops and weekend specials of your choice from our workshop program. For further details and workshop descriptions, please have a look at our workshop brochure.

To complete the program, you are required to complete the following:

  • 300 hours of teacher-led studio research

  • 10 individual process sessions

  • A process book

  • Participation in at least two devised research projects

  • A final project

Program Structure

  • Individual process sessions

  • Collaborative and individual devising practice

  • Independent creative research

  • Completion of a final project

The teacher-led studio research is offered through 3-week intensives, 2-week masterclasses, one-week workshops, and weekend workshops. The program emphasizes excellent teaching while maintaining a soul-centered approach for each participant. These various offerings share a common goal: to reconnect with the deep creative sources within ourselves and in the world around us, inspiring the creation of new narratives, myths, and paradigms relevant to us and our times.

For the 2025/26 season, the studio research will occur over two terms, each lasting seven weeks:

First Term: October 27 - December 12, 2025

Second Term: January 19 - March 6, 2026

The individual process sessions aim to enhance each participant’s ability to listen to and engage with their intuition, imagination, and inner voices. These sessions are provided by experienced team members, each utilizing different modalities such as movement, voice, drawing, or sculpting.

The (co-)creation of at least two devised research projects offers participants the possibility to devise projects of their interest, independently or in collaboration with fellow artists. Here you deepen your experience of how to listen to one another and engage in a spirit of co-creation, or delve deeper into your creative autonomy as a performance maker, tapping into the richness of your imagination and understanding the responsibilities for your work.

The process book allows participants to reflect on their creative and personal journey throughout the program using various creative modalities.

The final project, which concludes the program, can be completed within six months following the studio research. Depending on personal circumstances, it may also be completed earlier in the process.
