In 2003, Thomas Prattki creates the London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA). As the former pedagogical director of the École Jacques Lecoq in Paris and inspired by his studies of C.G. Jung’s depth psychology, he envisions a school for advanced practitioners in the performing, healing, and educational arts, rooted in the mythopoetic teachings of Jacques Lecoq and the Jungian approach to self-realization.

In 2016, in anticipation of the upcoming Brexit, LISPA relocates to Berlin and adopts the name arthaus.berlin. In this new setting, it develops three distinct branches: a postgraduate school for devised theatre and performance, a workshop center for professional development, and the Thomas Prattki Centre, which focuses on integral embodiment, performance making, and leadership.

In 2025, arthaus.berlin makes the strategic decision to broaden its outreach to a wider audience within and beyond the performing, healing, and educational arts. This new direction entails a shift from the provision of full-time postgraduate degree programs to offering part-time professional development programs, masterclasses, workshops, and retreats, integrating arthaus.berlin’s emphasis on performance making with the integral vision of embodiment, leadership, and transformation promoted by the Thomas Prattki Centre.
