This certificate program is a hybrid program, combining on-site process and practice and independent creative research in your own country. It offers 4 modules and runs across 6 months. Two modules are offered in the format of 7-day intensives, one on the Dutch island of Ameland, the other one in Berlin in Germany. The two other modules, Performative Writing and the Independent Research Project, are self-guided modules with mentoring support that can take place in your country of residency or wherever else you wish. The program addresses advanced practitioners in the performing, healing and educational arts interested in ongoing professional development whilst having a busy life that doesn’t allow them to participate in a more time-consuming program. It talks to those wishing to explore performance making as a ritual of soul making, of restoring and deepening the sense of the Numinous in the way we experience the world and our place and purpose in it. Through practices of Deep Listening such as intuitive painting, drawing and sculpting, vocal improvisation and mask play, meditation and ritual, we allow our numinous Self to communicate with us through the intuitive embodiment of its expressions.

Participants are then invited to take these numinous expressions as points of departure for the making of performance and performative vignettes, for the creation of forms which aim to make visible the yet Invisible, audible the yet Inaudible. An intuitive movement can then transform into the composition of asoundscape, the writing of a poem, the making of a video, the creation of a dance choreography, a prayer, a chant, a ritual, all pointing at something larger beyond themselves.
